"...and is so passionate and caring about what she does and so this was the start of a very healing experience for me.
The group activities are very well organised and structured, whilst being fun and engaging. They are practical and guided but you are totally able to express your own creativity and individuality. Examples are something simple like basic doodling which can then develop into something imaginative and dramatic, or you can use objects found in nature which can create a lovely montage.
Gaelle likes to surprise us each week with a new and different topic which is sometimes challenging but always interesting and exciting as very often it will be something you’ve never tried before.
However, no artistic skill is required, just your own imagination and a willingness to have a go.
By the end of the 2 hours, I realise I have been so engrossed in the project, feel so relaxed and so present in the moment, it has been therapeutic. It makes me feel so much calmer and I leave the group with such a sense of inner peace and satisfaction and I feel it has really helped in reducing my emotional stress.
It has made my life richer by improving my wellbeing and quality of life and has given me so much enjoyment in learning new things, particularly using so many tactile objects, which I would never have thought to use to create wonderful artistic images.
So, if you are struggling, are stressed, going through difficult times and need help with your mental well-being, or you just want help to try new ways to create with a friendly like-minded group of people, then this class is a gift for you well worth receiving whilst taking precious time out for yourself.
Learning new ways to create gives so much pleasure whilst realising how art therapy is so beneficial in providing an effective way of practising mindfulness. It has such a positive impact on your life, bringing much needed calm and peace to help cope with the difficult times, so why not give it a go?”

She has a very gentle manner and I felt at ease as soon as I met her. I would not hesitate to recommend this therapy.
